PRESS RELEASE - November 14th 2002
Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian lutheran church leaders met in Riga from 10th to 11th of November 2002.
The tradition of the meeting of three Baltic lutheran bishops was renewed by the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church in 2001.
During the meeting in Riga the guests were introduced with the media, publishing and diaconia work of the Latvian Lutheran Church, with the work of Luther-Academy and were given the overview about the current situation in Latvian Church. Bishops discussed over the development and future of the mutual relationship.
Common worship took place on 10th of November in Riga Dome.
